GMAT Exam Overview
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized exam used by business schools to assess an applicant’s qualifications for graduate-level study in business and management. The GMAT exam measures verbal, mathematical, analytical writing, and integrated reasoning skills.
GMAT Exam Structure
The GMAT exam consists of four sections:
- Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA): One 30-minute essay question
- Integrated Reasoning (IR): 12 questions, 30 minutes
- Quantitative Reasoning: 31 questions, 62 minutes
- Verbal Reasoning: 36 questions, 65 minutes
