CMAT Exam Overview
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination for admission into management programmes. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
- Final year students of Bachelor’s degree courses can also apply, provided they produce proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria at the time of admission.
- There is no age limit for appearing in the CMAT exam.
Exam Pattern
- The CMAT exam is a computer-based test (CBT).
- The exam duration is 3 hours.
- The question paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- The exam is divided into four sections:
- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
- Logical Reasoning
- Language Comprehension
- General Awareness
- Each section carries equal weightage of 25 marks.
Application Process
- Register on the official CMAT website.
- Fill in the online application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents, such as photograph, signature, and identity proof.
- Pay the application fee online using a credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
