Overview
The Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) exam, also known as the C1 Advanced, is a high-level qualification that demonstrates a learner’s ability to communicate effectively in English. It is recognized by universities, employers, and government departments worldwide.
Exam Format
The CAE exam consists of four papers:
- Reading and Use of English (1 hour 30 minutes)
- Writing (1 hour 30 minutes)
- Listening (approximately 40 minutes)
- Speaking (15 minutes per pair of candidates)
